Personal Services

Upon admission patients may choose to opt. out of the patient directory. If you choose to opt. out of the directory please be aware from that point on RBMC staff WILL NOT tell anyone you are here unless they tell us the PASSWORD you have selected. We will not ask for the password. This means the following:

  • Visitors will be told that we do not have a patient with that name listed in our inpatient directory
  • Flowers/packages may NOT be delivered to your room
  • Phone calls may NOT be transferred to you

Please be aware that you have the right to rescind your choice to opt out of the patient directory. Talk to your nurse if you choose to do so.

For patients listed in the directory, mail, flowers, telegrams, packages, and messages will be delivered to your room each day. Stamped mail will be posted for you. Once you are discharged, any mail we receive will be forwarded to your home.

Messages

The hospital receptionist in the main lobby will transmit or receive messages for you.
