HIV Services—Immunology & Infectious Diseases
- Early Intervention Program: comprehensive medical care program including medical care, case management and clinical care coordination.
- Counseling & Testing: free, confidential HIV testing program
- Prevention with Positives: intense prevention case management & risk-reduction program for individuals who are HIV+
- L.U.P.E.: Latinos United in Prevention & Education: health education, risk-reduction and community outreach targeting Hispanic youth, young adults and women.
- Support Groups
- AIDS EDUCATION/TRAINING UNIT - as part of the NY/NJ Aids Education Project, RBMC offers professional education and clinical support to medical professionals caring for individuals with HIV/AIDS.
Early Intervention Program
Individuals with HIV can receive comprehensive medical care and treatment, including specialized health education and case management services, through the medical center's Early Intervention Program. Comprehensive HIV services include the AIDS Outreach & Support Program and free and confidential HIV counseling and testing.

L.U.P.E.
Latinos United for Prevention and Education (L.U.P.E) is a collaborative HIV prevention project between Raritan Bay Medical Center and the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development (PRAHD). This grass-roots level program targets women and youth and those who are significantly more at risk for problems associated with poverty such as; substance abuse, adolescent pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, HIV and AIDS.
L.U.P.E. has been serving the city of Perth Amboy since early 1997 in an effort to reduce the risk of HIV infection within the community. To learn more, call (732) 324-5028 or (732) 324-5288.

All staff is bilingual and services can be provided in English and Spanish.
