The Ernest R. Hansen Auxiliary
...a chapter of the Perth Amboy Auxiliary
Help to organize and build the programs that will support quality healthcare through the new millennium.
The Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy Auxiliary consists of men and women who assist the medical center in developing and expanding programs and services to meet the needs of the medical center and surrounding communities.
The Ernest R. Hansen Auxiliary, a chapter of the Perth Amboy Auxiliary, was founded in 1991. The chapter schedules its events and activities to accommodate working businesspersons and other individuals who have daytime responsibilities.
Through a variety of fundraising events and service projects, Hansen Auxiliary members are helping to shape the future of healthcare. The chapter welcomes your talent and expertise to further advance the successful efforts of the auxiliary.
Auxilians receive several publications pertaining to auxiliary events and activities, medical center news and current medical and healthcare information. Open meetings are held five times a year and feature topics of general interest presented by experts in their field.
Rich in history, The Women's Hospital Committee of the City Improvement League was established in 1888 by a group of concerned and visionary women who launched plans for a hospital. Through their efforts an initial investment of $15,000.00 was raised and fourteen years later the city had its own hospital. Today, the Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy Auxiliary is one of the oldest and most distinguished auxiliaries in New Jersey and has contributed millions of dollars to benefit the medical center.
