CareOne is a long-term acute care hospital designed to serve patients with complex medical needs who require a lengthier treatment program in an acute care setting. CareOne has long-term care accreditation from the Joint Commission. It’s the first and only long-term acute care hospital in New Jersey to achieve this high-level recognition. Joslin Diabetes Center, Affiliate at RBMC
Raritan Bay Medical Center is an affiliate of Joslin Diabetes Center. The Hackensack Meridian Health complimentary shuttle is offered to and from Jersey Shore University Medical Center for patients and their visitors who require non-emergency medical services. This shuttle provides access to full health care services with peace-of-mind in knowing how you will get to and from the hospital.
Who can ride the shuttle? The shuttle service is available to all Hackensack Meridian Health Network patients and their visitors (family and friends) who need to travel between Perth Amboy to Neptune
How often does the shuttle make trips? The shuttle operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. with convenient hourly stops among the two locations.

Is a reservation necessary to ride the shuttle? No, a reservation is not needed to ride the shuttle.
Where do I get the shuttle at each hospital? At Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the shuttle is available at the Northwest Pavilion entrance. At Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy, it is available at the main entrance.
Is there a cost for the shuttle service? This shuttle is a free service. There is no cost to patients or visitors.
Do I need to show proof of an appointment or patient information to use the shuttle? The driver will take down your name and how many guests are in your party for log purposes. No vouchers are needed to ride the shuttle.
Does the shuttle offer transportation for individuals in wheelchairs or stretchers? Hackensack Meridian Health provides service for patients who are in wheelchairs. Patients who require a stretcher should call 800-244-6923 for transportation.
