Our goal at the Human Motion Institute is simple: to return our patients to normal function as quickly and safely as possible. Our dedicated medical professionals take a comprehensive, state of the art approach to the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and work with each patient and their primary care physician to develop a treatment plan specifically for that patient. We combine our extensive clinical expertise with a compassionate, caring treatment philosophy.

Depending on your condition, our highly qualified team of physicians prefer non-surgical solutions whenever possible. If surgery is the right solution, the Human Motion Institute physicians have the training and skill you can be confident in and have the ability to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Joint Replacement & Reconstruction

At the Human Motion Institute, we utilize a Joint Care Plus continuum of care approach which integrates the patient’s primary care physician and surgeon with a host of clinical support staff. It is designed to return our patients to maximum function as quickly and safely as possible. We will:

  • Establish an accurate diagnosis quickly.
  • Develop a plan of care that fits the needs of each patient suffering from joint pain or discomfort.
  • Prepare each patient mentally and physically for their procedure.
  • Continuously monitor and manage each patient’s entire pre- and postsurgical performance and progress.

Spine Care

Taking care of an injured spine is more than making a diagnosis. It is the skilled hands-on evaluation and appropriate diagnostic testing that determines the best overall plan of care. At the Human Motion Institute, preventing and providing relief for back pain and spinal disorders is one of our specialties.

Foot and Ankle

The specialists of the Human Motion Institute are trained to correct foot and ankle problems and pain. We employ the use of a variety of assessment and treatment tools, including the latest technological advancements, to establish an accurate diagnosis quickly and develop a plan of care that fits the needs of each patient suffering from foot or ankle pain.

Sports Medicine

The Human Motion Institute provides specialized assessment and treatment for sports-related injuries for all athletes, both professional and recreational. We are also actively involved in educating our area’s athletes, coaches, and parents about injury prevention and recognition. We believe that by providing programs to the community which teach proper strength building, flexibility, conditioning, endurance, and training techniques, we can help to minimize the risk of injury occurrence.

Hand and Upper Extremity

This area includes the joints, bones and muscles of the fingers, hand, wrist, arm, elbow and shoulder. The highly skilled team at The Human Motion Institute develops a specialized plan for each patient to ensure that diagnosis, treatment and recovery is as effective and efficient as possible.

The physicians and rehabilitation experts at The Human Motion Institute specialize in the treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders including
pre- and post-operative care programs that may not only eliminate the problem but also help to prevent the problem from returning. Our team utilizes advanced techniques designed to restore normal strength, motion and flexibility and to reduce pain as quickly and safely as possible.
