Laura Giménez, MS, RDN
Laura graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Nutritional Sciences and went on to complete her Dietetic Internship with a concentration in Medical Nutrition Therapy in Clinical and Community Dietetics at the Rutgers School of Health Professions. She works closely with surgical weight loss patients to smoothly transition through all diet phases and meet their individual weight loss goals. Laura also provides outpatient nutrition counseling helping the community with weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, kidney disease, and gastrointestinal intestinal disorders, among others. Through her experience, Laura has learned and adamantly believes that nutrition is individualized and there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” approach. Keeping this in mind, she works with her patients to determine what is most important to them, develop an individualized plan, and ultimately guide them towards reaching their health goals.
